I help SME owners bring their digital presence into order, so their business looks credible, works properly and feels easier to manage.
Practical experience from the boardroom to the high street.
My background is not just marketing theory. I have spent forty years building, running, protecting and rebuilding businesses, from major outdoor media projects and global brand campaigns to practical digital foundations for small business owners here in the UK.
That experience matters because your website, Google presence, social profiles and digital tools are not separate bits of marketing. They are part of the way your business earns trust. If they are messy, outdated or unclear, customers feel it before they ever speak to you.
My career began in the high-pressure corporate world of the 1990s, where standards were high and mistakes were visible.
I became the first female Corporate Director in the Out-of-Home advertising industry, then founded Airport Media, a specialist women-led firm built around commercial discipline, visibility and trust.
At one point, my team owned and operated the largest billboard on the African continent. A structure of that scale teaches you very quickly that foundations matter. If the planning is wrong, the whole thing becomes fragile.
That same principle sits underneath my digital work today. A business may have a good-looking website, but if the structure, messaging, visibility and back-office setup are weak, it will not support growth properly.
Why I Understand the Weight of Running a Business
I know that for many SME owners, a business is not just a commercial project. It is your income, your reputation, your family security and, often, the thing you have had to fight hardest to build.
I have lived that pressure myself. I spent fifteen years as a single-parent breadwinner while building a multi-million-pound firm. I have also faced the devastating loss of a business and the financial security that came with it. Then, like many owners, I had to pivot again during the upheaval of 2020.
That is why I do not treat digital strategy as a cold checklist. I know how personal it feels when the thing you have built starts to feel exposed, unclear or out of your control.
My role now is to help you get steadier. Not with hype. Not with clever jargon. With a clear view of what needs sorting, what can wait and what will genuinely help your business become more visible, resilient and trusted.
Real-world experience you can use.
Four Decades of Commercial Logic in Action
Over the years, I have worked with and around major brands including British Airways, Mastercard, Volkswagen, Avis and Heineken. Those environments taught me the value of consistency, reputation, quality control and clear commercial thinking.
But I have also learned that small businesses do not need a corporate machine around them. They need someone who can look at the whole picture, spot the weak points and explain the next sensible step in plain English.
That is the work I do now. I take the lessons learned from large-scale brand environments and apply them in a practical, affordable and human way for SMEs, sole traders, consultants, coaches, service providers and women-led businesses.
Winning Concessionaire of the Year was a proud moment, but the real lesson was the discipline behind it. High-pressure environments teach you that standards cannot be casual. They have to be built into the way the work is planned, delivered and maintained.
That same attention to detail goes into the websites, digital audits, Google profiles, social commerce setups and strategy work I now deliver for smaller businesses.
You may not need a corporate-sized agency. But you do deserve professional standards.
I have hosted business radio shows, interviewed leaders such as James Caan and Chris Gardner, and spent years writing and speaking about business, leadership and resilience.
Those conversations confirmed something I already knew from experience: growth usually becomes easier when the basics are clear.
That is why my mentoring style is direct, practical and jargon-free. I will tell you what I see, what I would fix first, and where your digital presence may be quietly letting you down.
I have contributed to business books and written my own work, including God in the Machine. My focus has always been the same: how do we use technology without losing the human judgement that keeps a business grounded?
AI, search, websites and automation can all be useful. But they only help when they serve the business properly. My job is to translate the tools into plain business outcomes, so you can make better decisions without feeling buried in technical noise.
The Logic Behind the Work
My approach is simple:
I am not here to make your business sound like everyone else. I am here to help it become easier to trust, easier to find and easier to work with.
A clear, four-way approach to building a more resilient business.
